Handyman Club of America / Handy Magazine Seal of Approval
The Studsensor™ EDGE was sent to 500 Handyman Club members for testing, and the results were overwhelmingly positive! Impressively, 97% of the respondents said they'd recommend the tool to others, and 98% said it was a good value for the price. The results were published in Handy Magazine, the official publication of the Handyman Club of America, and on www.HandymanClub.com
Number One Brand in Stud Sensors
Each winter, the editors of Home Improvement Executive poll the owners and executives of the leading home improvement center chains about their views on different stud finder brands. This year, 91% of the respondents stated that Zircon was the brand that would drive their current and future stud sensor business. Although Zircon has always had a strong poll showing, this recognition was unparalleled. We're flattered to obtain such a positive endorsement from our suppliers. Zircon may have no shortage of competition, but we're flattered to be viewed in such a positive light by our suppliers. Most Valuable Product Award
Each year, Building Products' Most Valuable Product competition singles out an elite handful of new products worthy of special recognition. The panel assessed each entry based on a single requirement. Does the entry: 1) Produce value to professionals (by reducing installation time, callbacks, or labor costs); 2) solve a problem, 3) simplify installation, 4) boost profits, or 5) add curb appeal or a "wow" factor to a home? "For builders and remodelers who have multiple scanning needs, but don't want to carry around multiple tools, the MultiScanner i700 looks like a real time saver," the judges raved. For the fifth consecutive year, a new Zircon product has won Popular Mechanics magazine's highest accolade. The revolutionary CenterVision stud finders pinpoint the center of the stud in one pass. Editor's "Best of Show" Award, National Hardware Show
This is an amazing four years in a row that Zircon has garnered this award, probably the most sought after at the NHS. No one else has ever won even twice in a row. You can read about it now on their web site — and see Zircon's Norm Krantz accepting the award from PM's editor Steve Wilson and Hearst vice president Jay McGill. Best of Home Tech: Top 20 Tools
"Laser levels are a dime a dozen, but Zircon's LaserVision Qube system ($100) is a standout in a crowded field. Each 1 1/2" color-coded cube (make that "qube") generates a different-shaped laser beam: Red cubes make a dot, blue cubes a line, and green cubes a cross. Use them individually or in combination to create, say, simultaneous plumb and level lines on a wall for cabinet layout. Ultrastrong neodymium magnets secure the cubes to one another and to the self-leveling base." - This Old House Magazine, December 2003
Annual Editor's "Innovation Award"
"Simplicity is the key to Zircon's LaserVision Qube System (starting at about $100). A simple appearance belies the sophisticated engineering that makes laser leveling easier than ever. Point one or more of the tiny magnetic laser cubes in almost any direction from the unit's self-leveling base. By adding more cubes you can do complex layouts with ease. The cubes come in versions that project lines, dots and crosses." - Handy Magazine, November/December 2003 NECA "Showstopper" Award.
