Zircon on MythBusters

Has the government installed a chip in you, and could you locate it with a stud finder? The MythBusters put these rumors to rest in episode 8 of Season 1, with a little help from our own Zircon engineer Chuck Heger.

Zircon in other TV Shows

Zircon has also popped up in more unexpected places. The images on the left are from USA Network's "Burn Notice", where ex-spy Michael Westen used one of our stud finders to detect a weakness in his drug-dealing neighbor's wall. (Don't try this at home.)

From the Wednesday Jimmy Fallon Show: the four stars of the "Ask This Old House" show came on to show Jimmy how to do some basic home repair functions. Finding a stud in a wall with our own Zircon i520 is right at the 30 minute mark.

Zircon in the Movies

From the 1999 movie "Stigmata". Father Kiernan (Gabriel Byrne) investigates a statue of the Virgin Mary using, among other tools, a stud finder. We're assuming he's checking for hidden chambers or other irregularities in density, given that none of our products on the market are equipped with a Miracle Sensing Mode.
