You shouldn't worry about calibrating your StudSensor™ tool. We designed our products to be as effortless as possible, so a Zircon® StudSensor™ device will automatically calibrate itself each time you press it against the wall and turn it on.

In the event of a problem, the unit will indicate an error with flashing lights. This is our exclusive over-the-stud warning. All you need to do is move a couple inches to the left or right and try again.
