  5. Have a small reserve of cash on hand.
  6. Keep devices charged.
  7. Keep inventory of battery types/needs for flashlights, radios, etc.
  8. Have enough water for each person in the family.
  9. Store canned goods and other non-perishable items.
  10. Keep your gas tank filled in your car.
