We purchased this 5 sensor detection kit to supplement the Zircon water leak detectors (non WIFI)) we already had next to our water heat and sump pump pit. Those non WIFI detectors worked as promised when our water heater sprung a bad leak somehow and started pouring water out of the bottom of it. Unfortunately, although the sensors alarmed, we weren't home and came home to a partially flooded basement. That is why we purchased this water detection kit that works on WIFI and sends texts when water is detected. It was easy to set up, using the provided step by step directions. We've only had it going for a little over a week, but so far, so good. It gives us peace of mind that we will instantly be notified on our phones should a water leak ever occur again.
